Ridgeview celebrates groundbreaking of outpatient medical center
Waconia, Minn.(Oct. 20, 2009) — Ridgeview Medical Center celebrated the groundbreaking of the Two Twelve Medical Center on Thursday, Oct. 15, at the site of the future facility in Chaska. Unlike any other medical facility in the region, Two Twelve will feature primary and specialty clinics, 24-hour emergency/urgent care, outpatient surgery, rehabilitation, imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, a community room, conference space and a library for patient education. Located on the northeast corner of Highways 212 and 41, Two Twelve will offer high-quality care in an outpatient setting that is easily accessible to consumers in the west-metro region.
Representatives from the city of Chaska, Ridgeview Medical Center's Board of Directors, Ridgeview Foundation Board of Directors, construction partners and Ridgeview staff from various departments attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
"The city of Chaska is extremely excited about the Two Twelve Medical Center being constructed in our community," said Matt Podhradsky, Chaska city administrator. "This project has the opportunity to be one of the best 'community builders' among projects being discussed to be built in Chaska. The city of Chaska truly values its partnership with Ridgeview and looks forward to many years of exciting opportunities in the future." Two Twelve Medical Center is slated to open in February 2011.
