Ridgeview Medical Center announces tenants at Two Twelve Medical Center

Waconia, Minn.—Nov. 5, 2010—Ridgeview Medical Center announced this week the tenants in its Two Twelve Medical Center. Located on the northeast corner of Highways 212 and 41 in Chaska, Two Twelve is the first free-standing emergency department in Minnesota and brings primary and specialty care together in one convenient location—in addition to 24/7 emergency and urgent care.


Primary and specialty care at the Two Twelve Medical Center upon its opening Feb. 1, 2011, will include:

  • 24/7 emergency and urgent care, through Ridgeview Medical Center and in partnership with Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota
  • Cardiology, through Minneapolis Heart Institute® at Ridgeview Heart Center
  • Endoscopy, through Ridgeview Medical Center 
  • Family practice, through Allina Medical Clinic — Crossroads Chaska (moving from its present location in Chaska)
  • Imaging, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), diagnostic and screening mammography, ultrasound and general radiography, through Ridgeview Imaging Services
  • Neurology, through Hennepin County Medical Center
  • Obstetrics/gynecology, through OBGYN West and Western OB/GYN Women's Health Center
  • Orthopaedic care, through Ridgeview Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and Twin Cities Orthopedics
  • Pediatric care, through South Lake Pediatrics and Wayzata Children's Clinic
  • Pediatric integrative medicine
  • Rehabilitation services, through a partnership in occupational rehabilitation and Ridgeview Rehab Specialties
  • Specialty care, including Internal Medicine, Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Orthopaedics—Cervical Spine, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Podiatry, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) and Audiology, through Ridgeview Chaska Clinic
    Other services: Pharmacy, Ridgeview Research, Subway Café

In addition, the four-story facility will feature pharmacy services, both for patients and the general public; Ridgeview Research (moving from its current location at the Ridgeview Chaska Medical Plaza); and a Subway Café

 

Offering high-quality care in an outpatient setting, Two Twelve is easily accessible to those who live, work or travel through the west-metro region. For example, the medical facility is just minutes from these landmark locations: 1.9 miles from Chaska High School (Pioneer Trail), 3.7 miles from Chanhassen High School (Lyman Boulevard) and 8.4 miles from Eden Prairie High School (Eden Prairie Road/County Road 4).


Employment at Two Twelve
As a multi-tenant medical facility, each individual clinic/practice in Two Twelve will manage its own employee relations and hiring. For example, emergency and urgent care, imaging and general facilities support at Two Twelve—all part of Ridgeview Medical Center's health care network—will be handled by Ridgeview's Human Resources Department. Ridgeview alone will need approximately 90 additional employees to support the new services at Two Twelve, which does not include staff that other clinics or specialty groups will hire.
