Waconia, Minn. (Oct. 20, 2014)—Ridgeview Medical Center is pleased to announce that Kevin Brown, DO, will join Ridgeview Clinics as its lead neurologist and medical director of Neurology Services for Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia and Ridgeview Specialty Clinic–Neurology at Two Twelve Medical Center in Chaska. He will begin seeing patients Nov. 1.
“We are proud to welcome Dr. Brown to Ridgeview, as he will lead the expansion of neurology services and outpatient clinic practices at our Waconia and Chaska locations,” said Michael Phelps, chief operating officer, Ridgeview Medical Center.
Dr. Brown’s clinical interests include electromyography and neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, headaches and humanism in medical education. He is board certified in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Formerly of Hennepin Neurology & Specialty Clinic, Dr. Brown is a graduate of Des Moines University Medical School. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center and his residency in Neurology at the University of Minnesota. He also completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Minnesota.
